Walls and Bridges: Zipcode and Health (presented by KQED)

May 17, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Dr. Nadine Burke Harris

A ZIP code can tell you much more than where to send postage. It can reveal geographic inequality and the likelihood of upward mobility in different locations. For medical professionals, a zip code can even be an indicator of health, well-being, and life expectancy.

Join us Thursday, 5/17, at the Bayview Opera House in San Francisco for a special discussion of one of the most pressing social and economic questions of our time: Does your zip code determine your fate. We’ll explore the question with a panel of experts including award-winning pediatrician and author Nadine Burke-Harris. #WallsAndBridges

Doors open at 6:30PM
