2021 BVOH Virtual Gala: Looking Forward to the Future

On Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 BVOH Board and Staff hosted our first ever Virtual Gala! Tying the theme of “Looking Forward to the Future” with our Black History Month campaign “BVOH Celebrates the Black Creative Force”, our gala, hosted by BVOH Board Member Dee Hillman and BVOH Theater Manager Ashley Smiley, featured performances by Trish Jane, Javier Reyes, Andre Wilson and SF Poet Laureate Tongo Eisen-Martin. Along with performances there were program updates from our community collaborators at the San Francisco Girls Chorus and how BVOH has been navigating the COVID-19 Pandemic and Shelter in Place Order.
