Bayview Uncut: Ruth Williams Artist in Residence Program is a program of the Bayview Opera House Ruth Williams Memorial Theater and is funded by San Francisco Human Rights Commission through the Dream Keeper Initiative.

The Ruth Williams Artist in Residence Program provides an opportunity for local and emerging artists to have dedicated space and resources through the Ruth Williams Memorial Theater to launch their artistic career, develop and produce an original production/event/concept all while having the opportunity to offer classes etc to the BVOH community. 

Grantees of the Ruth Williams Artist in Residence Program will receive $40,000, dedicated rehearsal and performance time/space at the Ruth Williams Memorial Theater as well as mentorship, production support, professional/artist development opportunities and more.
