Artist in Residence

Artists interested in future residencies please send a resume and letter of interest to info.bvoh@bvoh.org. Most residencies require either existing funding by the artist, or jointly applying for a grant.

Program intended for dancers 18 – 26, by audition ($15 audition fee)
This is a paid internship with a $500 stipend upon completion of the program.

 

 

  • Audition:
    When: Saturday, March 9, 4-6PM
    Where: ODC Dance Commons
    351 Shotwell Street, SF
    Note: 94124 residents can come directly to the callback audition on March 18 at the Bayview Opera House.
  • Class Description
    Bayview Opera House and PUSH Dance Company are offering dancers ages 18-26 a unique performance-opportunity during their residency at the Bayview Opera House Ruth Williams Memorial Theatre. This program is open to dancers of all styles/genres.
  • Class Requirements
    Dancers must be available to rehearse and take part in all career coaching, marketing and technology tools activities. A stipend of $500 per participant is provided upon completion of the program.
